About the project

The pupils will exchange letters by e- mail or twinspace. Communication language will be English. Because our primary target is to improve language skills. They will talk about themselves, their free time activities, sports, nature their countries, daily routine, cultures. In this project we will have chance to improve communication skills and learn about different cultures.

AIMS

*Widening English vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar
*Work in individual writing and reading skills
*letting students feel that we, the Europeans, are one big family
*expressing opinions in English
*using imagination
* Read and write different kinds of informal texts
The pupils will exchange letters by e- mail or twinspace. Communication language will be English. Because our primary target is to improve language skills. They will talk about themselves, their free time activities, sports, nature their countries, daily routine , cultures. Our primary aim is improve our language skills and learn new thing about other countries.

WORK PROCESS

Monthly communication will take place covering a range of topics agreed on by the partner schools. Below there are the suggested topics. Communication will take the form of emails, Power Point presentations, chatting, video conferencing and videos, mainly via the Twinspace platform.The list of possible duties which student are expected to do. The project will last for seven months:
November – My family and my hobbies
December – Traditions in my country
January – My school and New Year
February – My town, country
March – Our everyday lives and food culture
April – My pet and sport
May – Healthy lifestyle

EXPECTED RESULTS

1. Publishing our activities on the Internet.
2. Developing and improving student's foreign language skills.
3. Making new friends.
4. Learning about new country, new languages.
5. Motivate students to use English.
The final product of this project will be the public Twinspace. The expected result of this project is to increase the pupils awareness towards the differences and similarities of European cultures.
They will understand the importance of learning a foreign language to communicate with each other throughout Europe and make new friends.
They will also learn values such as respect of other cultures, tolerance and the importance of being open-minded through this project.
They will also gain self confidence, improve their English and ICT skills while learning together with their Europe.At the end of the project we are planning to have a knowledge about ohter cultures, we aim to have a presentation on twinspace in this way we will have the chance to get an international friendship
